The Neurobehaviour Core

Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute

The Neurobehaviour Core at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute is located in the Toronto Centre for Phenogenommics and has a wide range of state-of-the-art behavioural phenotyping equipment for screening gene-modified (knockout, transgenic, point mutant mice, etc.) and other strains (outbred, inbred, etc.) of mice.

Our mission is to provide training and assistance to academic researchers with mice at TCP by sharing our equipment, knowledge, and experience in behavioural screenings of mice in a variety of paradigms covering sensory, motor, and cognitive functions and psychopathology-related disorders (schizophrenia-like, depression, bipolar disorder, autism, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder etc).
